Rusah is our first Black Russian Terrier. She was born August 27, 2003. Her full name is Furry Rusah Siberian Star. We brought her home when she was only 6 weeks old. Rusah proved to be very adorable, intelligent, and easy to train. We started her in obedience training as soon as we got her. This pup exceeded both ours and our trainers’ expectations. She had very big plans laid out for her life.
Rusah entered her first show at 3 months of age and won best puppy in breed and placed 4th in group!
She completed Canine Good Citizen requirements when she was 6 months old and earned 2 confirmation titles by the time she was 14 months old, her CD at 18 months, CD-X at 25 months.
Rusah was awarded TOP Puppy in Breed and Group for 2004 in Rare Breed Club of South Western Ontario. (check her achievement page for more information on her titles)
She is the 1st BRT to earn CKC CD, CDX, UD titles as well as CARO RN & RA& RE in
Rusah was awarded CKC TOP OBEDIENCE DOG in 2005 & 2007. She placed FIRST in total points by BRT in
She is a delightful, loyal family member, best friend and companion. She is very sociable, curious, courageous, playful and naturally protective. Rusah gets along well with people, other dogs and children. She loves to go walking, running, biking, swimming, carting and shopping. She is never in the way and always willing to respond to the first command she receives from her owners.
Rusah had 2 planned litters and gave us some great offspring to brag about.(See Litter Announcements) Rusah's kids are going great in both conformation and obedience ring Magic (Multi Ch Midnight Solo Rastislav, TT, CGN) is one of the Top CKC Conformation BRT 2007, has 2 legs towards CD 3 pups from second lirtteer have CGN by 11 months and going great in conformation rings and obedience training (See Our Dogs page) for Rusah's kids achievements and health checks
